Steps to find your perfect shade
Skin tones come in a wide range of colors, from very deep to fair. However, the term "undertone" specifically refers to the underlying color or shade that exists within your skin tone. Use the pictures and step below to understand both your skin tone and undertone to find your perfect shade.

Look at your skin color and determine whether it is light, medium, or deep.
- This will give you an idea of what range of shades to look for in makeup.
Step 1: Look at the color of your skin underneath any blemishes or discoloration. This will give you a more accurate read on your undertone.
Step 2: Determine whether your undertone is cool, neutral, or warm based on the following characteristics:
Cool Undertones: If your skin has pink, red, or blueish tones and tends to burn easily in the sun, you likely have a cool undertone.
Neutral Undertones: If your skin has a mixture of warm and cool tones, and you tend to burn before tanning, you likely have a neutral undertone.
Warm Undertones: If your skin has golden, yellow, peachy, or olive tones and tends to tan easily in the sun, you likely have a warm undertone.
